The rapid growth of pickleball in the United States has led to increasing conflicts between players and local residents over court noise and space, highlighting the challenges of balancing recreational expansion with community concerns. This explainer was to help illustrate some of the different ways to help alleviate that noise and the pitfalls of those solutions.

The Brief:

The reporter needed some way to to visualize 3 different kinds of noise abatement solutions for pickleball courts along with their associated costs.

The Solution:
